“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:9 (CSB)
Hi everyone,
I am so excited that you are here! My name is Becky and I am a broken and flawed child of God.
I was born in New York and raised in Pennsylvania. I now live in Virginia with my husband and various fur babies. My dad is a pastor (and yes, we pastor kids can be a little crazy) so God and His Son have always been a part of my life.
While I do not know a world where God and Jesus are not at the center, I do know a world where sin, pain, and loss have made me struggle with my faith. I have lost my faith a time or two. I have been very angry with God. And, I have had times where I felt that He was so far away that I didn't think we would ever be close again.
I also know what it is to be told you are not worth it. I know what is it to be told you are not beautiful. I know what it is to have your world come crashing down around you and a piece of your heart follow someone to Heaven.
For a while, God has been calling me to use what I have been through to help others get through difficult times in their lives. I have finally decided to answer his call.
I pray that what I share through this site helps you and leads you to God and His Son or strengthens your faith in them.
Together, we can survive all that is thrown at us, by His Grace.
In Christ's Love,
Becky
I would love to pray for you and what you are going through. I know how important it is to have others who support us through prayer.
